Wow! I can't believe I haven't written a single thing since February and it's now coming to the middle of August. I can't make excuses and say that I've been so busy that I just didn't have time to write. That would be a lie. I've had time. I just forgot about this place. I really did. The only reason I remembered was because I got a Vox Talks(I think that's what it's called anyways) email. I really do want to start writing here again. I just have to remember it, haha. Anyways, I guess if you are reading this then you are wondering about the title. Bryan and I found out about a week ago that we are expecting a baby. I'm about nine weeks along and the baby is due March 17th. We weren't really trying but if it happens it happens. And it happened. We are both so excited about this. Everyone at work is already trying to plan a baby shower. I still have a while to but they are all so excited about this. What's really crazy and is making it even more fun is that my best friend is also expecting a baby. She is ten weeks and her baby is due March 9th. When we found out we were so close we were so excited because we get to experiance this together. We've experianced everything else together and I guess we get to add pregnancy to the list, haha. Anyways, I know this is a big update or a long post but I just wanted to let you all know what was going on. :)

I can't believe that it has been almost two months since my last post. There has been so much going on lately that I've completely forgotten about this place. I guess it is time to update you guys on what has been going on in my life.  I am still working at the pharmacy I joined back in October. I'm loving it so I've decided to stay on for the rest of the year and start school in January of 2010. About a month ago Bryan and I got to talking about the wedding. We have been engaged for almost two years and hadn't even one plan for the wedding. Not one. We decided that we wanted something small and simple. He suggested that we go to Las Vegas. I was completely against it at first because I wasn't quite sure how my parents would react. Mainly my mom. I told her about the idea and she didn't have any problems with it. She thought it was a great idea even though she wasn't going to be there. She told me to take videos and lots of pictures. So, once they were all okay with that idea then I said we should go for it. We have been working out the details/plans for almost three weeks now. We have booked our flight and hotel. We leave on the 22nd of this month and will be staying for a week. We couldn't decide where we wanted to stay but we finally settled on New York New York. I'm extremely excited but nervous at the same time. I've never flown and I've always said that I never would. I'm deathly afraid of planes and flying but I will hopefully be getting over that soon. If not then they will drag me kicking and screaming onto that plan. Haha. I'm hoping that everything turns out okay. That's what has been going on in our lives lately. :)

I have decided that my eating habits need to change. Lately all we have been eating is greasy, fattening foods. Whether it is fast food or food we are cooking at home. I have been gaining weight like crazy because of it. When I gain weight I don't feel good and I just feel gross. I just recently made a batch of peanut butter cookies but they have got to go. So, throwing them away is my first step. I have decided to start walking/jogging every night after I get home from work. At least one mile a day possibly two miles. No less than one though. I will be eating healthier at lunch. Veggie sandwiches and turkey sandwiches from Subway. Six inch and on wheat of course. Egg whites for breakfast. Now, I just have to work on my supper. Everyone in this house likes to eat fried foods and that really isn't going to cut it for me anymore. I have to figure out what to have for supper and I can't think of anything. So, if anyone has any ideas as to what I could do then please send your suggestions my way. I would really appreciate it. I bought NV pills not too long ago and I never started taking them so starting tomorrow that is another thing I will be doing. I hope these help in the process of losing weight. 

I remember when I used to write here all of the time. I was here pretty much everyday writing something. No matter what it was I was writing about. My domain(sleepishly.com) will be expiring soon. January 10th to be exact and I won't be renewing it. I always felt obligated to write there. I have decided that since I will not be renewing the domain I want to start writing here more often. I want to get back in the habit of writing and posting pictures like I used to. So, from now on expect to see more than the occasional post. Just wanted to update everybody on that front.

Mrs. Rosey is a dear friend of mine who is doing something wonderful for women with breast cancer. She has opened a public Twitter account and will be donating a dollar to the Susan G. I know I’ve mentioned it on Twitter but I thought I’d mention it here since not every follows me on Twitter. I got the job. I started on the 15th actually. Tomorrow will be two weeks. I’m really liking it so far. There are two things that I really have to get used to though. Standing up on my feet all day and getting paid every two weeks instead of every week. We aren’t allowed to sit down at all. Unless for our lunch break of course. Which, by the way, is an hour long. I’m not used that. I’m used to thirty minutes at my other job and even then I really only used fifteen of those thirty minutes. So, it’s definitely taking some time to get used to. I live 20 minutes away so I have to find something to do for that hour besides eat. It wouldn’t be so bad if there was a Wal Mart or a Target but there isn’t. /: Anyways, just wanted to update you guys on that front. Friday Bryan and I are meeting my family in Monroe after I get off work. There is a tattoo shop that is trying to break the record for the most tattoos done by a single artist in twenty four hours. All the proceeds go to three different charities. The names aren’t coming to me at the moment though. He is doing a really awesome looking star. I plan on getting four on my side. They aren’t very big at all so I think it will look good. Everyone else seems to think so. I’m really excited about it but also a little nervous. I have a feeling that it is going to hurt like hell on my side. Mainly because I’m ticklish but because that just seems like a very tender part of the body. I plan on taking pictures once it heals…if I even go through with it. Haha.

Well, we aren’t really going green but our walls sure are. We are planning on painting our room a light green with cream/beige trim. That’s if we ever get around to actually going out and getting the paint. We have been wanting to redo our room for a long time now and we are finally going to be able to do. I’m so sick of looking at this room. It’s Barney colors and I’m not really sure why anyone would want it that way. It’s hideous. Anyways, we are redoing all of the walls, the floor, the ceiling, the molding and of course painting. We are also planning on buy a few new pieces of furniture. I say a few but it’s more like every single thing in our room will be new. Two desks, a TV stand, bed frames(possibly a new bed entirely), bed side tables and one or two new small book shelves. It’s going to cost a pretty penny but it really needs to get done. I’m so ready to rip this ugly ass green shag carpet up. I’m ready for some pretty wood floors. Hopefully we will be going to Lowe’s sometime this week to get everything that we need. We really need to get started soon though since we will be starting work in about two weeks. Once we start work we won’t be able to do a darn thing until work ends. I don’t know if I can wait much longer even though I’ve waited this long to do it. I think with three possibly four people doing this room we can get it done pretty quickly. One thing we haven’t figured out yet is where we will be sleeping and where all of our crap is going while all of this is going on.

Today has been such a long day. I’m not even really sure why since I haven’t really done anything to day. I’ve been taking pictures like crazy today. I’ve also uploaded a ton of pictures to Flickr today. Today was such a beautiful day that we swam most of today. We were going to go back out later after we ate but it starting raining. The rain came out of nowhere because not even five minutes earlier I took a shot of the clouds and posted it on Flickr. It’s crazy how quickly the weather can change. I am only going to post a couple of pictures from today but you can find the rest at my Flickr which I have linked above. :]

My birthday isn't until this Saturday but Bryan let me have my cake today. We are going to my parents' house for my birthday and my mom is going to make me a cake. Bryan wanted to get me a cake from him so he went out and bought one for me today. Every time my birthday rolled around and I had a cake it was always a square cake. I've never had a round cake and I've always wanted one. Bryan remembers everything I tell him because when I woke up he had brought home a round cake. Let me tell you...IT WAS YUMMY! :) I'm not going to post every picture I took but I will link my Flickr so you can see the rest of them if you like. Enjoy.
